Reddit HD provides an easy way to view and interact with Reddit from your Mac computer without having to load up Safari and navigate there, the old fashioned way.

Reddit HD allows you to do just about everything you can do through the regular website. You can upvote and downvote, browse subreddits, view comments, make comments of your own, and of course post. The app can notify you when you have new mail, and supports easily sharing things to various social media platforms, such as Facebook and Twitter. You can mark posts as read and view Reddit public or private mode.

Does the Job

Reddit HD does the job it sets out to, though it's not without issues. It is noticeably slow at loading content, for one thing. And there are some accessibility issues, such as buttons that are difficult to see due to the colour scheme, and the view comments button is hidden until hovered over with the mouse. There are also no visual customisation options, such as alternative themes. But those aside, Reddit HD is a perfectly usable alternative to the regular browser-based way of using the service.
